Scenes from my hometown, Gangnam Style

It’s a beautiful Sunday and I’m just catching up on reading this week’s newspapers.  Apparently, a locally produced video, showing scenes from one of the most notable places in town, went viral this week.  I can see why.

And, it worked!  Navy beat VMI, 41-3.

This is the town where I live, featuring some of its most prestigious residents just having a little fun.

My son, who is stationed near Pearl Harbor, likes to remind me that it’s not the same dangerous place as I associate with the Pearl Harbor from the history books. Things certainly have changed.

Go Navy!

For those who’ve been asking, I’m not sure where The Oma is. Maybe somewhere shooting The Oma Gangnam Style?  It could happen.

    • When I was a little girl, they were men (there were no women then). When I was in college, they were the guys that the prettier girls got to date. Now they seem like little boys. . . to me, anyway.

  1. Congrats to Navy on their big win! My late dad was a Navy man, and my junior high fight song was played to the tune of “Anchors Aweigh.” Yep, got a soft spot for the Navy — thanks for this post, and prayers for your son’s continued safety!
